Important Information About The 2020 Beach Ball

Dear Friends and Supporters:

It will come as no surprise that we are officially cancelling what would have been our 5th Annual Beach Ball this month. In addition to the regulations around group gatherings, our primary concern is that local businesses and families may be struggling with financial uncertainties - and this is not the time to ask for their financial support. For this reason, even a postponement or online event doesn’t seem like the right fit.

We are looking ahead with hope to next year and have already reserved OceanCliff for Friday, June 11th. Please hold the date and cross your fingers!

We have had a number of people share their interest in supporting The EGEF, given the loss of revenue we will face, and we are so grateful! If you are in a position to be able to give, please click here to continue to help us support innovative education in our schools.

Our Grants Committee has been hard at work reviewing the applications that our teachers submitted this Spring, and we plan to announce the awards later this month.
