LINDSAY FERRANTI

Lindsay was born and raised in Rhode Island. She lived in New York City for 7 years, where she worked for educational technology companies and got her MA as a Reading Specialist from Columbia University. She returned to East Greenwich to raise her family. She and her husband, Dan, have two children in the East Greenwich school system. She is currently an active real estate agent in the community. Lindsay is passionate about supporting innovation within all of the East Greenwich Schools through her work with the EGEF.

MEGHAN MCGUINNESS MYERS

Meghan moved to East Greenwich in 2018 from New York City. She has spent her career fundraising for non-profits and serves on the EGEF Development Committee. Meghan is a mother of two children (one at Frenchtown Elementary and one at Meadowbrook Farms Elementary).

MARY ANNE O'CONNELL

Mary and her husband, Tom moved to East Greenwich this past Spring to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Recently retired as an Elementary Principal/Director of Special Education, Mary Anne wants to find ways to continue to support education and student learning in her new community of East Greenwich.

NICOLE CHEN

Niki was born and raised in RI but lived briefly in New Hampshire and Massachusetts before settling in East Greenwich in 2011. She and her husband, Herb, have two children who attend Eldredge Elementary School. Niki joined the EGEF Board in 2019 and serves on the Grants Committee, helping to select projects to be funded by EGEF.

ALAN MALAFRONTE

Alan was born and raised in Rhode Island.  He and his wife, Jenn, settled in East Greenwich in 2017 and have 2 sons attending Cole Middle School and a daughter at Eldredge Elementary School.  Alan has supported the educational experiences of students in East Greenwich by volunteering as a room parent in several of his children's classrooms and serving as Treasurer of the PTG at Frenchtown and Eldredge Elementary Schools over the past 4 years.  He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a MBA in Finance from the University of Rhode Island.

DANIELLE MEDINA

Danielle grew up in East Greenwich and moved back with her family in 2011. She is an Emmy-nominated producer and with her husband, Jan, owns Mad Fusion, a production company that develops and produces content for networks including Bravo, MTV, VH1, Food Network and HGTV. Danielle and Jan have twin daughters who attend Eldredge. After years volunteering in the girls' schools, she joined EGEF as part of the BeachBall subcommittee in 2018/2019, and has joined the board of directors in 2019/2020. 

KATIE CIOE

ASHLEY BOND

Ashley and her family have lived in East Greenwich for over 4 years. She grew up in Rhode Island having spent some time in North Carolina and California. She has a stepdaughter in elementary school who she raises with her husband, Mike. After years of volunteering at her stepdaughters’ school, she joined EGEF in 2021 to strengthen her community involvement. Ashley is the office manager of a local tree service company where she also assists in statewide environmental education, restoration, and preservation programs

KAREN BUTTENBAUM

Karen grew up in Rhode Island and recently returned after spending 12 years in the Boston area. Karen has one son who currently attends Eldredge and has been an active volunteer at both Eldredge and Frenchtown. After a career in law school admissions at Harvard Law School and Roger Williams University School of Law, Karen now works with individuals applying to law school as an admissions consultant with Spivey Consulting.

JEAN-NICOLE GOUDIE

MIKE TASSINARI

Mike and his wife, Julia, grew up in East Greenwich and returned in 2015.  They are the parents of 3 children, the older two attending Frenchtown.   Mike has a special interest in education and also serves on the Advisory Board  of School the World, a non-profit that builds schools and creates educational opportunities for impoverished children in Central America.

JENNIFER BIALEK

Jennifer has over 15 years of experience working in business development for both non-profit associations and large corporations.  She has primarily focused on sponsorship and advertising sales for programs and events taking place around the world. In addition, from 2015 - 2020 she was the lead planner for a 1,000 person conference where she gained invaluable experience around all aspects of events. A graduate of University of Rhode Island, Jennifer and her family relocated back to Rhode Island from the DC area in 2016 and now lives in East Greenwich with her husband, three children entering grades 1, 3 and 6 and their Cavapoo, Tucker.

GENEVIEVE LEE

Genevieve joined EGEF in 2021. She was born in West Virginia and raised in New York. She spent time in Massachusetts and Ireland before moving to Rhode Island in 2010. She settled in East Greenwich to raise her family in 2016. She and her husband, Anthony, have 2 children at Meadowbrook.

JILLIAN SULLIVAN

While Jillian comes from the west coast, she attended Brown University and decided years ago to make New England her home. Jillian and her husband, Adam, moved to East Greenwich in 2011 and have two children who attend Eldredge and Hanaford Elementary schools. Jillian joined the EGEF Board in 2021, serving on the Grants Committee, helping to select projects to be funded by EGEF. Jillian works at Bank of America, leading the Global Events organization for the company.
